Berberine treatment results in dose-dependent loss of cell viability and induces growth inhibition in cervical cancer cells. A, Percent cell viability of cells treated with berberine for 24 h. Cervical cancer cells and normal peripheral blood lymphocytes were treated with indicated doses of berberine in triplicates and the viability was measured at different time intervals by MTT assay as described in "Methods".
