RCC2 and PPIC, but not CDK6, are upregulated in gastric carcinoma. To validate the expression levels of possible miR-29c target genes in cancer tissues, quantitative RT-PCR was performed with non-cancerous epithelial tissues (n = 5) and gastric carcinoma tissues (n = 23) that had been previously subjected to microarray [6, 21]. The graphs show the normalized expression levels of individual miRNAs relative to the median of non-cancerous epithelial tissues. Each dot indicates the expression level in an individual case.
