DNA-PKcs inhibition enhanced UVB-induced apoptosis of keratinocytes. Effect of NU7026 (10 μM, 1 hr pretreatment) on UVB (UV, 30 mJ/cm2)-induced cell viability loss and apoptosis were tested by MTT assay (A) and Histone-DNA ELISA (B)/Annexin V FACS assay (C) respectively. WT, DNA-PKcs KO or SIN1 KO MEFs were irradiated with UVB (UV, 30 mJ/cm2), cells were further cultured for 24 hrs, before cell viability was tested (D).
