From: Role of moesin in hyaluronan induced cell migration in glioblastoma multiforme
Effect of HA-treatment on cell migration. Glioma cells (U373 and U87) and normal human astrocytes (NHA) were plated and treated with HA (50 – 100 μg/mL) for 48 h. All HA-treatments were given in DMEM only. Both glioma cell lines (A) U373 and (B) U87 showed increase cell migration when treated with HA (50 - 100 μg/mL) as compared to no treatment controls (NTC); (C) Normal human astrocytes (NHA) treated with HA (50 - 100 μg/mL) showed no significant difference as compared with no treatment control (NTC).
