SPARC is the secreted protein most abundantly produced by S cells relative to M cells. (d) Western blotting analysis of cell extracts and conditioned medium confirms the differential expression of SPARC and PAI-1 between S and M cells. Tubulin signal was used as a protein loading and transfer control for cell lysates, and Ponceau red staining for conditioned medium.
