Annexin V-propidium iodide and PARP-1 cleavage assays . (A) Annexin V-propidium iodide assay of B78-H1 cells treated with 250 nM P2 or P4 and 10 nM C14. The proportion of cell population in apoptosis and necrosis is reported in Table 1. Before the FACS analysis the cells have been treated with porphyrin and light (7.2 J/cm²). The experiment has been performed in triplicate; (B) Levels of PARP-1 and β-actin in B78-H1 cells untreated or treated with 80 and 150 nM P2 and P4, 7.5 nM C14. The Western blots show the cleavage of PARP-1.
