Expression of ICAM-1 is highly inversely correlated with E2F1 expression. A. ICAM-1 expression in DU145 cells. Whole cell lysates or total RNA were prepared from DU145 cells stably transfected with either the control vector or shRNA targeting E2F1. The expression of E2F1 and ICAM-1 was monitored by RT-PCR (upper) and Western blot (lower). B. ICAM-1 expression in DU145 cells was analyzed by real-time PCR.
