Representative immunohistochemical staining of pSer78 on breast tumor tissue microarray (TMA). TMA sections were deparaffinized in xylene and rehydrated in graded alcohols and processed as described previously [6]. After antigen retrieval and removal of endogenous peroxidases, the sections were incubated for 1 hour with anti-pSer78 antibody and the hybridized complex stained with labeled dextran polymer conjugated with peroxidase and DAB+-substrate chromagen solution, counterstained with Mayer's hematoxylin and mounted for scoring. The extent of staining was scored as negative, weak, moderate and strong, based on the stain intensity.
