Oncolytic effect of reovirus type 3 Dearing strain (ReoT3D) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. Dose-dependent cell death shown as % cell survival (mean ± SD) induced by ReoT3D in 9 NSCLC cell lines evaluated by the XTT assay [49] at 48 hours post-infection. ReoT3D dose is defined as multiplicity of infection (MOI) expressed in plaque forming units per cell (pfu/cell). The curves were fitted by non-linear regression using GraphPad Prism (GraphPad Software, Inc., San Diego) for 7 permissive cell lines, NCI-H460, A549/ATCC, HOP-62, EKVX, NCI-H23, NCI-H522, and HOP-92. The data shown are representative of 3 separate experiments.
