The number of T cells with expression of p53 and downregulation of Bcl2 und NfkB is significantly increased in BE and EAC compared with the controls. Biopsies were taken from control, BE, and EAC mucosa and MELC staining cycles and data processing were performed as described in Experimental Procedures. The respective significance level is depicted within the graph.
