HTLV-1 p30 delays entry of cells into S phase of the cell cycle. Hela cells were transfected with GFP (green) control or GFP-p30 (red) expression vectors synchronized with Hydroxyurea (2 mM) and then released for 0 h or 8 h A). B) The same experiment was performed as in A) but after release from "HU" block, cells were immediately treated for 4 h or 8 h with Nocodazole (40 ng/ml) to prevent the reentry of cells from G2/M to G1.
