A. UV irradiation enhances the proapoptotic effect of dexamethasone in CEM-C7-14 cells. Determination of the cell cycle profiles of CEM-C7-14 cells UV irradiated (6-10) or not irradiated (1-5) in the presence (2-5 and 7-10) or absence (1 and 6) of dexamethasone for the indicated times. FACS experiments were performed two times and the profiles shown are from one experiment. B. MG132 enhances glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis. CEM-C1-15 (white bars) and CEM-C7-14 cells (black bars) were cultured in DCC-treated media incubated with dexamethasone (1 μM for 48 hr) (bars 2 and 4) in the presence of MG-132 (1 μM, 24 hr) (bars 3 and 4) and FACS analysis performed.
