Tumor incidence of hepatocyte-specific c-myc transgenic mice at the age of 45-65 weeks. Tumor incidence in alb-myctg mice used in this study. A subset of animals was sacrificed at the age of 45 weeks (alb-myctg: n = 20), 55 weeks (alb-myctg: n = 10) and 65 weeks (alb-myctg: n = 16), respectively. The extracted livers were analyzed for macroscopically visible tumor nodes. Tumor-positive mice were defined as animals with a minimum of 1 tumor node with a diameter ≥ 1 mm.
