  1. The repetition time (TR) parameter determines the user defined repetition time in spin echo sequences while the time of echo (TE) determines the excitation pulse (90°) of the same slice. FOV (Field of view) specifies the area to be imaged. Flip determines the angle by which the magnetization vector is rotated around to an axis perpendicular to the main magnetic field during the radio frequency excitation pulse. It can be adjusted for an optimum contrast and/or signal-to-noise ratio.
