Inhibition of KIT activity counteracts the delay effect on myeloid differentiation due to KIT overexpression. (A) Imatinib (1 μM) significantly decreases the proliferation of 32DKIT-High cells during G-CSF-induced differentiation, while it does not affect control 32DEV cells. (B) CD11b cytofluorimetric analysis at different time points during G-CSF-induced differentiation showing that the KIT-induced delay of myeloid differentiation in 32DKIT-High cells is counteracted by imatinib.
