Impaired p300 binding by HPV8-E6K136N. Extracts from RTS3b cells, which were transiently transfected with expression vectors for the empty vector, Flag-8E6wt or Flag-8E6K136N were incubated with M2-FLAG-agarose. Co-immunoprecipitated p300, MAML1 and SMAD3 and 10 % of the input extracts were detected by Western blot with specific antibodies. The expression of HPV8-E6 was confirmed by a Western blot against the Flag tag. Equal protein loading was confirmed by tubulin expression
