a High-resolution MRI of a glioma in a mouse in vivo. MRI was performed at 7T. T2* weighted 3D FLASH sequence (TE/TR = 10 ms/20 ms/FA = 10°) were used with a 320 × 320 × 64 matrix and 3.2 × 3.2 × 0.64 cm FOV resulting in an isotropic 100 mm resolution. Negative contrast enhancement is observed 4 h following SapC-DOPS-USPIO (adapted from [28]). b MicroPET imaging of a glioblastoma in a mouse brain 24 h after administration of SapC-DOPS-124I · (2a) nanovesicles. 2a is a phenol-substituted analog of indodicarbocyanine (DiD). A CT scan was acquired for anatomical co-registration and attenuation correction of the PET data. Concurrent bioluminescence imaging (BLI) confirmed the presence of glioblastoma (adapted from [40]).
