Pyk2 regulates ovarian cancer cell migration. a Expression of Pyk2 in CaOV3 and OVCAR3 cells promotes cell migration. Cells were stably transfected to express Pyk2 or empty vector (EV). Immunoblots show the expression of Pyk2 in these cell populations. Cell migration was assessed. b CaOV3 and OVCAR3 cells were transfected with Pyk2 siRNA or control non-targeted siRNA (NT siRNA). Pyk2 knockdown was confirmed at 48 h by immunoblot analysis. Cell migration was assessed. Results shown are representative of three independent experiments and data are expressed as the number of total cells that migrated/10 fields. * indicates P < 0.001 relative to controls
