The chemo-resistant property of CSCs is believed to contribute to poor prognosis of conventional tumour treatments. Therefore, we rationalise that therapy targeting CSCs would enable chemo-sensitization by affecting downstream cellular signalling pathways of tumour cells and enable the drugs to destroy the tumour bulk.Back to article page
