Acidic extracellular pH reduces the antiproliferative efficacy of rapamycin. a HT29 cells were cultured in medium buffered to pH 7.4, 6.8 or 6.4 and treated with rapamycin (100 nM), MK-2206 (1 μM), U0126 (10 μM) or DMSO for control.
