VASH2 decreases the sensitivity of pancreatic cancer cells to gemcitabine in vitro. After treatment with 25 or 50 nM gemcitabine for 48 h, the apoptosis rate of PANC-1-EGFP, PANC-1-VASH2, SW1990-scramble, and SW1990-shVASH2 was indicated by flow cytometric determination of Annexin V and 7-AAD staining. Upper-right + lower-right quadrants indicate apoptotic cells.
