From: The HNF1α-regulated lncRNA HNF1A-AS1 reverses the malignancy of hepatocellular carcinoma by enhancing the phosphatase activity of SHP-1

Fig. 3

HNF1A-AS1 suppresses the proliferation and colony formation of HCC cells in vitro. a, b The expression of HNF1A-AS1 in Huh-7 cells infected with lentivirus (a) or transfected with siRNA (b) were detected by real-time PCR, respectively. Cell proliferation was measured using the Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK8). (c) Colony formation assays in culture plates were performed with HCC cells infected with lentiviruses. The number of HCC cell colonies with the forced expression of HNF1A-AS1 were counted after 3 weeks. d Soft agar colony formation assays were performed in HCC cells treated with Lenti-HNF1A-AS1. e, f Colony formation assays (e) and soft agar colony formation assays (f) were performed in HCC cells transfected with siRNA. Data represent the mean ± SD of triplicate experiments. *P ≤ 0.05, **P ≤ 0.01, and ***P ≤ 0.001
