Modulation of DNA Damage by miRNAs in response to irradiation in prostate cancer. Radiation induces DNA damage. In order to repair DNA damage, the cell initiates DNA damage response (DDR) pathways. miRNAs, whose expression are modulated by irradiation, are key players in increasing or inhibiting DDR in PCa radiation response by targeting the mediators, transducers or effectors of DDR.
