T-MPs present DNA fragments from cancer cells for APC, stimulating the production of type I IFNs by the activation of the cGAS-STING pathway. Type I IFNs, in turn, make DCs mature by up-regulating CD80, CD86 and MHCII. DCs present tumor antigens to T cells, eliciting anti-tumor effects.
