JPX overexpression promoted cell growth and proliferation in vitro and in vivo. The CCK-8 assays were performed to determine the viability of lung cancer cells treated with si-JPX#1 (a) or pcDNA3.1-JPX (b) in SPC-A1 and NCI-H1299 cells. Colony formation assays were used to detect the proliferation of lung cancer cells after transfection with si-JPX#1 (c) or pcDNA3.1-JPX (d) in SPC-A1 and NCI-H1299 cells. The bar charts represent the numbers of cell colonies. (e) NCI-H1299 cells with empty vector were injected into the upper nude mice (n = 7), while NCI-H1299 cells stably expressing JPX were injected into the lower nude mice (n = 7).
