CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knockout of IKKα impairs phosphorylation of c-Myc at threonine-58. Quantification of Western blots (Figure S1) showing extracts of control, IKKα- or IKKβ knockout (KO) cells in absence or presence of the IKK-inhibitor BMS-345541. Deletion of IKKα or treatment with BMS-345541, but not IKKβ knockout significantly increased threonine-58 phosphorylated c-Myc levels while threonine-62 c-Myc phosphorylation was unaffected; n = 4.
