The sentence ¿"in the absence or presence of PD98059 (10 uM)" was originally included in the additional file 1 legend (B) as a typing error, and the various cell types were only treated with GCDA. Therefore, the sentence "in the absence or presence of PD98059 (10 uM)" should be removed from the legend (B) of ¿Additional file 1¿. This change in the legend more accurately describes the data in Figure S1 and has no effect on the experiment, the interpretation or the conclusions drawn.
