TGFβ-1 increases p8 expression in Panc-1 cells. Panc-1 cells were treated with TGFβ-1 (5 ng/ml) for 12 hours under standard conditions. Total RNA and protein were prepared and p8 mRNA and p8 protein expressions were measured by RT-PCR and Western blot respectively as described in Material and Methods. RL3 mRNA expression was used as a control in RT-PCR experiments and β-tubulin as a housekeeping control protein in Western blots.
