Immunohistochemistry analysis of nidogen-2 expression in human colon carcinomas. (A) Sample 3405, a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma that does not present aberrant methylation of the NID2 gene promoter, shows a strong immunoreactivity for nidogen-2 in the stroma. (B) Sample 3413, a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma that presents aberrant methylation of the NID2 gene promoter, shows a nearly complete lack of immunoreactivity for nidogen-2.
