From: Identification of a human TFPI-2 splice variant that is upregulated in human tumor tissues
Northern blot analysis of human TFPI-2 transcripts in normal and tumor cells. Total RNA from HUVEC and Colo-205 cells was extracted and equal amounts (20 μg) of RNA was electrophoresed in a 1.2% agarose-formaldehyde gel and subsequently transferred to a nylon membrane and probed with 32P-asTFPI-2 cDNA. RNA molecular weight markers are indicated on the left. The probe detected both major (1.2 kb) and minor (1.8 kb) TFPI-2 transcripts in the case of HUVECs, and approximately a 300 bp asTFPI-2 transcript in Colo-205 cells.
