β-adrenoceptor antagonists regulate cell cycle distribution in vitro cultured PanCa cells and limited prevented tumour progression in vivo. The cell cycle distribution of PanCa cells in response to β-adrenoceptor antagonists (A), MIA PaCa-2 and BxPC-3 cells were untreated (control) or treated with β-adrenoceptor antagonists: 100 μM metoprolol and 100 μM ICI118,551 for 24 h. β-adrenoceptor antagonists limited tumor development in BALB/c athymic nude mice (B), the black dashed line was used to label the tumor range.
