*A two-tailed p value ≤0.05 was considered statistically significant. Normality tests revealed that none of the data for these three variables (DMR_T (%), DMR_N (%), and DMR_T/DMR_N) were normally distributed; thus, the statistical analyses were performed using nonparametric Mann-Whitney U tests.
