Inhibition of G9a induces autophagy and displays anti-tumor effects in a xenograft mouse model. (A) FaDu cells stably expressing luciferase-containing vectors with inducible-knockdown of G9a were orthotopically injected into mice. Tumors from eight mice fed with a control diet or nine mice fed with a diet containing doxycycline were quantified by measuring photon influx. A significant difference was determined between the groups (*, p < 0.05). (B) Tumors of mice were weighed after sacrifice.
