CDDO-Im inhibits peritoneal plasmacytomas in iMycEμ gene-insertion mice. Mice were injected i.p. on day 1 with 0.2 ml pristane and either treated with CDDO-Im (100 μg per 50-μl i.p. injection, n = 14) or vehicle control (50 μl PEG 400, n = 11). Treatment commenced on day 7 and continued three times per week throughout the observation period (60 days). The diagnosis of plasmacytoma was established on days 30 and 60 post pristane, using stained ascites cell specimens. Tumor incidence was compared using χ2 analysis, the results of which (probability values, p) are indicated above the columns.
