Forced expression of p38 MAPK sensitizes FA-6 cells to high Ca2+ concentrations. FA-6 cells were transfected with pCMVp38+ or pCMVp38- and cultured in high Ca2+. The percentage increase in cell number over 24 hours is shown for the mean of three experiments, error bars show the SEM.
