Effect of pan-neutralizing TGF-β antibody on retinoic acid-induced inhibition of 3H-thymidine incorporation in human pancreatic cancer cells. The TGF-β antibody prevented the growth inhibitory effects of retinoic acid in CAPAN-2 cells (top panel) and partially inhibited the effect in Hs766T cells (bottom panel). One way ANOVA: Capan-2: F(3,11) = 7.02, P = 0.0125; HS766T: F(3,11) = 136, P < 0.0001. Significance of individual comparisons after Bonferroni's multiple comparison test is indicated by * = P < 0.05, *** = P < 0.001. Data are expressed in counts per minute (CPM).
