  1. Endogenous protein levels of Bcl-2 and Bax were determined by intracellular staining with labeled antibodies followed by flow cytometric analyses. Semi-quantitative measures of protein levels given as mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) were used to calculate the Bcl-2/Bax ratios. The results are based on three separate experiments performed in triplicates, with error bars representing standard error of mean. The genetic status of the prognostic markers TP53 and FLT3 have been reported by others [2527].
