Nelfinavir induces activation of caspase 3 and caspase 8 despite mcl-1 upregulation. IM9, Jurkat and bone marrow fibroblast cells (BMF) were treated for 24 h with 8 μg/ml nelfinavir and analyzed by Western blot analysis for the expression of caspases and apoptosis-relevant proteins.
