Stable expression of miR-17 downregulates RUNX1-regulated miRNAs of myeloid differentiation. (A-B) U937 clones stably expressing miR-17 (A), RUNX1-MTG8, or CBFB-MYH11 (B) display block of PMA-induced myeloid differentiation (assessed by CD11b cytofluorimetric analysis) relative to their cognate control clones. (C) Consistently, U937miR-17, U937RUNX1-MTG8, and U937CBFB-MYH11 clones also display downregulation of miR-223 (assessed by qRT-PCR).
