Effect of DRs siRNA on the tectochrysin-induced colon cancer cell growth inhibition, expression of cleaved caspase-3 and NF-κB inactivation. a The colon cancer cells were transfected with targeting DR3, DR4, and Fas siRNA (100 nM) for 24 h, and then treated with tectochrysin for 24 h. Then, the cells were determined by MTT assay. The results were expressed as a percentage of viable cells. The data are expressed as the mean ± SD of three experiments. *P < 0.05 compared with the untreated control. #P < 0.05 compared with the treated control. b Expression of cleaved caspase-3 and β-actin was detected by Western Blotting using specific antibodies. β-actin proteins were used as internal controls. c The activation of NF-κB was investigated using EMSA as described in Methods.
